One of the Few Update

one of the few

As the launch date for One of the Few approaches (November 10), I wanted to give you all an update on what’s been happening in the last few months.

I’ve decided to make the e-book version of One of the Few

free for the first three days of the launch.

I’m encouraging people to join my book launch list to be notified of its release so they don’t miss this limited opportunity!

You can join the book launch list at www.oneofthefewbook.com

Alaska

First of all, I’ve moved to Alaska. No big deal. Just over 4,000 miles of adventure through the US and Canada on the Alaska Highway.

We made it in 12 days and had an amazing time.

RZIMSI

I had an amazing experience at the RZIM Summer Institute in June. Those experiences alone are enough to write a book. One of my many takeaways: people will not see, unless they can see for themselves.

Boone Shepherd, LLC

I have formed Boone Shepherd, LLC. This is the company I will use to publish books that are grounded in a Christian worldview.

I have approved the soft cover version of One of the Few on CreateSpace. I will soon receive a hard copy proof. Then I will be preparing to send out the books ordered during the pre-order campaign on Publishizer.com

Launch Team

A few volunteers have been going beyond the call of duty in support of the launch. Jane Anderson is the One of the Few Launch Team Manager and has been hard at work crafting social media products and strategy.

As the launch team Media Director, Joel Bauer has been using his expertise to craft a website specifically for the Launch Team as well as others interested in spreading the word about the book.

I’ll let you know when the site is ready!

one of the few

In exchange for help spreading the word on social media and leaving a review on Amazon when the book is released, Launch Team members receive the e-book free, an inside glimpse into the world of self-pubishing, and access to the author (me) to answer any burning questions you might have.

Not on Facebook? No problem. We sparingly use e-mail to communicate as well. Contact Jane here and request to join (expect to the website to be Insite Skill).

Hard Cover

Although a hard cover edition was not available during the pre-order campaign, I am working to have a hard cover version created in time for the launch. Pray that I can make it happen!

Audiobook

I have forayed into the field of audiobook narration. The One of the Few audiobook has been recorded, edited, and mastered. Once the book is on Amazon, I’ll be working to get it approved for sale on Audible.

That’s all for now. Stay tuned for more on leadership, parenthood, and worldview development, and updates for One of the Few.
